We will start by using a Command Line Interface (CLI) which is known to work well and supported on all controller platforms.  With recent software releases, you also have an option to perform initialization via GUI and we will demonstrate this over both wire and wireless. This is also known as WLAN Express Setup on Cisco 2504 with best-practices and configuration optimization built-in.

We will then configure Identity Mapping feature, connect ISE to a domain controller, and test authentication for user-to-IP mapping. We will finish up by enabling auto-registration and review publisher and subscriber roles. 

The video walks you through the process of sponsor and guest portal customization on Cisco ISE 1.3. We will review Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) created back in the the Portal Customization video and apply it to our Sponsor and Guest portals, and make other basic changes including portal logo, banner, and wordings. We will also extend the customization to sponsor and guest account notification emails and prints while demonstrating the use of variables in order to insert guest-specific information onto the page.

We will continue our configuration from the previous lab and add guest ability to create an account. We will explore both automatic and manual account approval. At the end, we will allow guest to register additional non-user devices via device registration.
