The video walks you through three different methods of installing and initializing Cisco Wireless LAN Controller. We will start by using a Command Line Interface (CLI) which is known to work well and supported on all controller platforms.  With recent software releases, you also have an option to perform initialization via GUI and we will demonstrate this over both wire and wireless. This is also known as WLAN Express Setup on Cisco 2504 with best-practices and configuration optimization built-in.

Part 1 of the video covers controller initialization via CLI

Hi
Initially configured @ the beginning, there is only 1 interface from WLC (port 1) to Switch (1/0/5).

Why @ the end of the lab, there are two interfaces configured from WLC to switch?

Thanks,
Shady

The video only shows configuration for 1/0/5. 1/0/6 will be used in the future lab for interface redundancy.

Great video!!,

I am wondering how you establish the link connection between SW1 and the Internet, did you use a PAT with a single access list for each vlan to translate and using each vlan interface?

Are you pointing with default route to the 192.168.10.1?

Thank you =)
