The video walks you through a process of setting up a scheduled backup for both Admin (Configuration) and Monitoring (Reports) nodes on Cisco ISE. We will perform an on-demand configuration backup to a FTP server and, later in the video, restore to the same server state. Backing up your ISE server is very simple, important, and yet most neglected, part of an ISE implementation. You always want to make sure that you have a good regular configuration backup in case of hardware/software failure.
Pre-requisite
  • Location of backup file storage (eg. FTP)
Topics
  • ISE Configuration Scheduled and On-Demand Backup (excluding OS)
  • ISE Monitoring Data Scheduled Backup
  • ISE Configuration Restore (CLI)
  • Repository with FTP
