Combine AnyConnect.msi and ClientProfile.xml
Hello
* When client installs AnyConnect from ssl clientless portal, user still needs to type VPN host once to connect to corporate network and then download configured profile.xml which includes Server-List.
Is there any way to somehow combine AnyConnect.msi or .pkg file (which we are uploading in ASA) so that after downloading and installing AnyConnect, user will just choose VPN Host from dropdown list and connect to our network ?
Combine AnyConnect.msi and ClientProfile.xml
We don't believe that is not possible if client is downloaded from the ASA with the .pkg. However, if the client is part of your domain, you might want to consider distributing AnyConnect client along with client profile, then user will see the server list by default.
Combine AnyConnect.msi and ClientProfile.xml
There are situations when remote user is using his own device that is not part of our domain so we can not distribute ClientProfile.xml using AD policies on that devices. So its our (IT staffs) overhead to either pre-configure those devices or send VPN host via email/phone.
Thats why i want to combine anyconnect.pkg and ClientProfile.xml
Combine AnyConnect.msi and ClientProfile.xml
Understood. In that case, the best way to provide a clear instruction to user to enter the URL once on the AnyConnect client after download and they should see the drop down for subsequent connection.
