The video shows you how to install Cisco ASA CX software service version 9.3 from scratch. Here we assume to have a blank SSD although the same procedure also applies if you want to perform a module recovery. We will be able to access the CX web interface by the end of this video.

Hi there:

Is this ASA a virtual machine?
It is possible to do this setup lab using the virtual appliance version 9.22 or later provided by Cisco?
I'm pretty sure you are using a physical ASA, but I need to confirmation.

You are doing a great job!!

As far as we know, the CX requires a SSD, so it is not possible to run CX on the vASA. This lab uses physical ASA.
