SP0030 - MPLS Multicast VPN (Part 2)

The video introduces you to Cisco MPLS multicast VPN. We will first go through some theories behind the technology to give you a big picture of configuration steps that will be involved and familiarize you with essential terminologies. The configuration begins at global multicast, of which we will use Source-Specific Multicast (SSM), and followed by Default-MDT and Data-MDT configuration. During configuration, we will provide tips and point out anything that you might need to pay attention to. We will be testing using both Dense and Sparse modes at the client sites. Wireshark packet capture will be performed throughout this lab to help you place the theories into practice, and understand the structure of the multicast packets.

RS0065 - BGP Multicast (Part 2)

The video demonstrates the use of BGP multicast on Cisco router. We will be building a multicast network from scratch using Auto-RP and show you how to implement multicast routing topology that is independent of unicast routing topology using BGP. Basic multicast networking is recommended before viewing this video.

SEC0020 - Router EZVPN with Dynamic Virtual Tunnel Interface (DVTI)

The video desmonstrates the configuration of Easy VPN (EZVPN) using Dynamic Virtual Tunnel Interface (DVTI) on Cisco routers and explains its benefit over the conventional EZVPN with 'crypto map' or tunnel interface with GRE. Here we introduce the concept of Virtual-Template. The second half of the video shows example of additional features that you can implement with VTI using QoS and multicasting.
