SEC0145 - ASA CX Active Authentication (Part 2)

The video shows you the first method of obtaining user identity on Cisco ASA CX using Active Authentication. We will integrate CX with Windows Active Directory to perform user authentication as well as user group query. We will redo our access policies from the previous lab and replace the source IP subnet with AD user group. This would be our first step towards identity-based access policies and free ourselves from the use of just IP addresses.

Cisco ISE Guest Portal Custom HTML Consideration

If you are currently deploying or planning to deploy Cisco ISE to handle your guest access authentication using Central Web Authentication (CWA), you may not be very fond of the Cisco default login page. Although an ability to replace the Cisco logo and change font and background color are sufficient for some people or organizations, others may find options Cisco provide to customize the portal page on the web GUI rather limiting. Fortunately, Cisco ISE allows you to create a full custom HTML for the login page and several other pages, which gives you complete freedom to make the pages look any way you like. However, greater flexibility come greater responsibility. What this means is ISE will relinquish complete control on all of these pages and it is totally up to you to make them match the flow of the login options, process, and configuration on ISE.

SEC0059 - ISE 1.1 Sponsor and Guest (Part 2)

The video explores Cisco ISE capabilities to provide guest login and sponsorship. We will look at how we can create a sponsor group and configure sponsor group policy to allow a sponsor to manage their guest accounts. We will configure a guest portal with a simple portal customization, and allow guest to perform self-service. As part of our testing, we will create a guest account through a sponsor portal page and test login over wired network. We will also test creating a guest account through self-service over wireless.
