Doesn't having to manually change the RADIUS NAC state defeat the purpose of having HA AAA servers configured?

Could you please elaborate on the chaning RADIUS NAC state?

There's a part of the video where you have to change the RADIUS NAC state to None to allow the backup servers to work. In a real world scenario if would make it pointless to have backup servers configured. Just an observation...

You are correct. That seems to be the behavior we ran into in that software version. Hopefully that is no longer true in the latest WLC version.
