SEC0236 - FTD 6.1 NGIPSv IDS and IPS Modes (Part 3)

The video shows you how to configure Cisco NGIPSv (aka Firepower Virtual Sensor)into IDS and IPS mode on Cisco UCS-E. We have a UCS-E installed on a branch router and we will start by sending copy of traffic to it (ie. IDS). We will then place the sensor logically inline (ie. IPS) by using two different methods.

SEC0233 - FTD 6.1 NGFWv and NGIPSv Device Installation (Part 2)

The video walks you through an installation process of Cisco NGFWv (aka FTDv) and Cisco NGIPSv on VMware ESXi server. We will install NGFWv in our lab server environment in a sensor mode, while NGIPSv will be installed on Cisco UCS-E at a branch site. Devices will be initialized and ready for further configuration in future videos.

RS0083 - vNAM Alarm and Threshold (Part 2)

The video shows you how to configure Cisco vNAM to respond to traffic performance threshold violation. As part of demonstration, we will enable alarm thresholds and actions on our test FTP and voice traffic. We will trigger the alarms by introducing server and network impairment and observe the system response by sending email notification and performing packet capture.

RS0082 - vNAM Media Monitoring (Part 2)

The video looks at the thrid aspect of Cisco vNAM traffic monitoring which is media monitoring. We will focus on vNAM capability to monitor voice traffic by looking at available menu options and information its gather on RTP streams. In the second half, we will perform voice quality analysis by introducing network impairment and see how it effects reported MOS value.
