The video demonstrates a backup and restore process on Cisco Prime Infrastructure 3.1. We will discuss the differences between appliance and application backup. We will then perform an application backup in order to migrate our configuration to a new virtual machine created with Professional OVA. An application restore will be performed to complete the process.

Hi, please i have a CISCO ASR 9010 DC Chassis router with firmware Cisco IOS XR version 5.1.3. Please can you help me to automate and schedule the backup of configuration file from the router flash to the FTP server ?

You might want to look into using EEM to do that. Should be just a few commands you need. See post below
