Hi Metha,
Really appreciate your videos. Hope you can help me on the below query.
For Flexconnect with central DHCP, I have to configure below on the WLC
a- Interface for the client VLAN.
b- The LAN where the controller connected need to understand the clients VLAN
c- The interface need to have reachability to the GW.
But the subnet / IP address to be assigned to the wireless client on the remote site does not exist at the central location.
And we cannot create the same vlan / IP subnet which is on the remote site to be the same as in the head office network/core switch, it will cause overlapping subnet.
central dhcp local switching
You might be better off just doing IP helper on the local gateway pointing to central DHCP server. It is a much simpler solution and widely used instead of using the central dhcp.
