The video walks you through a configuration process to perform LAN automation on Cisco DNAC. We will bring up an underlay network of four switches by manually configuring just a seed device, while the remaining switches will be automatically brought up using PnP. The goal is to demonstrate a potential time saving of using LAN automation in a large SDA deployment.

Part 2 of this video covers switch bring-up with PnP

So would you use a different downstream seed device if you needed to do more switch additions via LAN automation? Also can you change the hostname after it finishes to something more recognizable?
Your videos are a great help, thank you for providing them.

Your seed device always have to be at the edge of the network where your next Edge node will connect to. Hostname can be changed on the devices themselves afterward and do re-sync from DNAC.

Very helpful videos
How do you telnet to the devices while they have blank config?

if I am doing a LAN automation for greenfield devices, then it will add into the inventory at finally. in this case, fabric provision will happen or not, I mean LISP configuration for overlay. Lan automation is completely for device provision or both device provision and fabric provisioning.

I can see the DHCP pool on seed device for Vlan 1 when I started LAN automation. But while discovering the new devices, I can see the IP address on Loopback interfaces on PnP agents. Could you please confirm on which interface the IP will assign on PnP devices.

After stoping the LAN automation, on which interfaces i can see the reserved pool IP address on PnP agents and will these switches having Loopback configuration and IP address, If yes please confirm which IP address will get and from which pool.
