RS0061 - BGP Peer Group Peer Template and VRF

The video introduces you to the concepts of peer group and peer template on Cisco routers that would help you making your configuration process more efficient as well as optimizing the process of route advertisement. You will be learning the similarities and differences between the two methods. We will also look at BGP configuration in a VRF so a basic understanding of VRF is recommended.

RS0060 - BGP Route Summarization (Part 3)

The video demonstrates various features related to BGP route summarization on Cisco routers. You will learn how to control the amount of routes being advertised and select routes to be considered as part of the summarization. We will also introduce the basic of route filter, and touch on a more specialized feature for reversing route summmarization using route injection.

RS0059 - BGP Advance Route Advertisement (Part 2)

The video demonstrates more advanced BGP route advertisement features on Cisco routers. BGP uses only one best route by default so we will look at how we can configure a router to load balance between multiple equal-cost routes. We will test the router ability to limit the number of prefix being learnt from its peer and react accordingly. Finally, we will show how you can gain more control with conditional advertisement that is based on existence of another route.

RS0058 - BGP Basic Route Advertisement (Part 3)

The video shows you how to advertise routes into BGP on Cisco routers. We will look at different methods of advertising routes and the effect they have on route Origin attribute. We will discuss the default behavior of routes being learnt from eBGP and then advertised into iBGP, and the importance of 'next-hop-self' command. Default route advertisement will also be demonstrated at the end of the video.

RS0057 - BGP Basic Neighbor Configuration (Part 2)

The video gets you  started on BGP with basic neighbor configuration on Cisco router. We will be configuring both iBGP and eBGP, and this will serve as fundamental configuration for our future labs. In additional, we will look at two features; Fast-External-Fallover and Graceful restart. This lab is all about bringing up BGP neighbor sessions and there will be no route advertisement.
