WL0026 - WLC Voice over WLAN and QoS (Part 2)

The video goes through configuration on Cisco Wireless LAN Controller to support wireless Quality of Service (QoS). Voice over Wireless will be used to demonstrate End-to-End QoS marking. Wireshark packet capture will be performed on both wired and wireless as part of QoS analysis. The lab closes by showing Multicast Music on Hold working in conjunction with Multicast Direct feature.

SP0029 - MPLS QoS (Part 3)

The video takes you through three different QoS implementation models in Cisco MPLS, namely Short Pipe, Pipe, and Uniform. We will start by examining the default QoS behavior at label imposition, and perform basic Experimental value change during label swap. We will then dive into each of the QoS models, and complete relevant configuration. Packet capture and debug will be performed throughout the lab to provide verification. Some features that you will also learn in this lab include table map and explicit null label.

RS0068 - BGP QPPB

The video demonstrates a way to perform QoS classification and marking on Cisco router based on BGP routes and attributes using QPPB. Specifically, we will be using BGP community value on routes to match packets and set IP precedence value, which later on are used to enforce QoS queuing policy.

SEC0078 - ASA 1000V Advance Security Profile (ASDM CLI Mode)

The video looks at advance features on Cisco ASA 1000V in ASDM mode via CLI. This includes Connection Timeout, IP Audit, Application Inspection, and TCP Normalize/Intercept. There are also features like packet fragment settings, and QoS that are not available for configuration in VNMC mode. In addition, we will configure static NAT and inbound ACL to allow our web servers to be accessed from outside.

RS0031 - Nexus 1000V QoS

The video presents three main QoS building blocks on Cisco Nexus 1000V: Marking, Policing, and Queuing. We will be applying QoS to Port-Profile to mark RDP traffic, and enforcing policing based on matching DSCP value. Any traffic exceeding allowable rate will be either drop or marked down. We will attempt to provide guaranteed bandwidth to both Nexus and VMware control traffic. DSCP values will be analyzed using Wireshark packet capture.

Cisco Wireless LAN Controller QoS, 802.1p, WMM and AVC

Quality of Service (QoS), in general, is probably one of the most difficult topics to digest. Combing QoS with wireless makes it even more confusing. Without good documentations, ones can easily find themselves lost in translation.  In this article, we will look at QoS settings on Cisco Wireless LAN Controller (WLC), specifically regarding packet marking in central switching mode, and try to understand relationships among 802.1p, 802.11e, WMM, and AVC, through lab experiments. Wireshark will be heavily used in this lab to provide insight to packet headers.

SEC0020 - Router EZVPN with Dynamic Virtual Tunnel Interface (DVTI)

The video desmonstrates the configuration of Easy VPN (EZVPN) using Dynamic Virtual Tunnel Interface (DVTI) on Cisco routers and explains its benefit over the conventional EZVPN with 'crypto map' or tunnel interface with GRE. Here we introduce the concept of Virtual-Template. The second half of the video shows example of additional features that you can implement with VTI using QoS and multicasting.
